from then as well. Now I'm not saying sink art for good, but what we can do
is have public auctions for the textures to keep them circulating through the
community and out of the hands of the scammers/riggers that got banned
in the first place, the textures could also be donated to the Event Squad for
events they are hosting, either way its fine as long and the textures stay in
circulation.
There is nothing worth then a scammer getting on an alt after being banned
and trying to sell expensive texture sets, he's already been marked as an
untrustworthy player by his main being Permabanned, so why players have
to buy art from an shady alt of a shady player. You can say "well just don't
buy it" but at the same time look at the current art community. We don't
have a thriving one like the old days and good sets are becoming more and
more rare, we can't afford to just sink art.
Tc can have real money value, if someone buys tc then buys a texture(or set), and then gets banned, why is it right to take that art away from them? I have an entire folder of many texture sets and head textures from the past few years on my computer, even though I've quit playing the game entirely and only use the forum, I still want to keep what I "bought" even if it isn't helping the community.
Collectors who earn their money fairly then do something banned to get perma banned should have the right to own their textures.
Unless it was bought with scammed tc, I don't think someone could have the right to just take that away from them. Plus alts and people starting fresh are a thing, so if anyone came back and somebody already had a texture that might create something really convoluted and frustrating for everyone involved.
Or maybe I'm missing the point idk
