HASSAN's Game
Hey guys,
This is my first post here and I'll be explaining what goes on behind some of my games (Not everything because that's classified).
So I'll just go through 3 replays to begin with - Looking at my
Grace style.
So what
Grace style replays are about is:
Sleekness is the smoothness, fluency and overall confidence of the movement.
Speed is self explanatory.
Non-Conflict is how clean the replay is with regards to aikido meaning how much damage was dealt and points of contact on the opponent.
So here in Phsyplex what's really clear is my Sleekness. It's the devotion to the move itself that gives it that distinct look. Notice how at all - if not most of the game I am in a winning position. There's a difference between an amazing save to then win and an amazingly well executed move to then win. This is an example a confidently executed move to win. What makes it different to a save is that is has no element of turning the tables of the match (Going from definitely loosing to 100% winning. What also gives it it's style is the follow through - just because my opponent was about to loose it doesn't mean I relax all or do some crazy stuff, I simply go through with the move right to the end of the match.
Now we look at 'Meanest Suplex Ever'. In this replay it I start off relatively easy and loose but then I jump into the move very abruptly to create that sudden burst of energy needed to quickly move the opponent over and across my body before he counters and weighs me down. I tried to surprise the opponent as much as possible because it means he has to completely change game plan and technique to match my change of motion. In doing this I disorientated him. The match length was short because by the time I'd gotten the opponent onto the other side of me he was already in a clear loosing position and there's that element of Speed. Ignore the accidental decap if you want to just look at this from a Bushido point of view.
Finally one of my absolute favourites 'Now He Can Do The Splits Too'. This replay has a strong trait Sleekness to it but an even stronger trait of Non-Conflict. First we'll look at the fact that I used ABSOLUTE minimal points of contact on the opponent. The only thing touching him was my hands and nothing else - throughout the WHOLE match. There was no striking whatsoever and therefore if you look you'll notice that I ended the game with ZERO damage to my opponent (Of course you get points for dq). This is (In my experience) a rare sight, to play an aikido match with no damage is one thing but to WIN the match still doing no damage is very special. And therefore it can be said that this strictly followed the Bushido method as I used only manipulation to out skill my opponent.
So thanks for reading (If you did). I do hope I've gone through pretty much everything in sufficient detail. Remember this is NOT a GUIDE but an analysis of my intentions during the games. I have deliberately not gone into depth on the actual raw moves I carried out because I don't want to limit you to just what I did. You know like e.g. Step One: I raised both shoulders....
That and the fact that not everything in these replays are 100% PERFECT and that is for you to point out to me. I do hope to get feedback on both the replays and the explanation so it would be much appreciated. I plan on making another post just like this one but instead going through a different type of play style that I use.
