Well I mean we kinda overbreed the cows and cause unnecessary suffering for them, but w/e. Either way we could completely annihilate a species if we really needed to. A lot of your points aren't very valid as you said that since we can eat meat, we do it. Same could be said for genocide and murder correct? Also plants cannot feel pain as they do not have a nervous system.
