Yea the new way isn't very useful, you can tell if you beat all the monsters but that's something you could easily track yourself. It no longer acts as a scoreboard unless you want to add up every individuals score - so you can't check if you're in top ten and eligible for the second prize
Edit: you don't have to remove the current scores, just re-add the total scores alongside them
