Then when we put this thing in place, iirc, it was supposed to be temporary until matchmaking was fixed (lol), and then global ranks would have been based only on matchmaking, to reduce noob farming as much as possible (with mod ranks attainable from normal servers, similar to how the system used to be). And I don't think I need to tell you how badly hampa fucked up matchmaking. Literally didn't listen to a thing we suggested.

hampa is a nice guy, but my lord how I wish he'd sell this game to a development team that actually gave a shit
