It's a poor excuse to say, "Oh, that's just Unibash" When Unibash is not being introduced either. Decide on something, because an ingame unit is needed, implement halfop with unibash teachers. I don't really mind how it's led, done or organised, but it is evidently needed, so someone do something rather than just putting it off like it will go away.
All this "It isn't there job" just because it 'isn't your job' that doesn't mean it should be moved to one side and left, have some common sense.

As I said, anyone can read off a script and say "oh, do this" "oh do that" but what happens when someone who has made it past beginner wants help. One of your own even stated that the Help Squad were the go to in game, when half the members were recruited for forum activity and the ability to moderate boards/help beginners.
Bring in the strongest people to help all things in game, and that way everyone can be taught.
It seems like people are doing anything to stop a new group being made to help them have to do less, and increase the retention rates of the game. I do not understand your train of thought here, if you are genuine and want to help the game, why are you so reluctant to let people do so?
