as you stated, making the "best" ingame players something like TA's to help out beginners aswell as experienced players won't work out.
without naming any of them, but the ones which come to my mind clearly would be terrible teachers, won't work without a gain for themself and mostly play this game to duel/bet and earn money with it. why should they bother with teaching other players which potentially could break their niche and lower their income?
otherwise i have no clue what sort of players you mean, to gather for the job you specified.
I'm not suggesting just go onto the game and steal all the best players, saying "you're going to be a teacher now". What I'm instead suggesting is that there are many people who would be more suitable for the role of ToriAgent or similar, but are hindered by their forum activity and skill, which makes little to no sense when in-game tutoring for beginners is part of their agenda. This is not conscription.

But if the case gets too large/convoluted and requires a general report then our involvement in it will become less. It makes sense to have the guys that host events and are ingame all the time to be available to help whenever they can, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to have them be the ones that deal with a lot bans. We're here to make it fun, not bring the banhammer!
So that's been happening already for a couple of months, so we could have a nicer transition. This is just a formal announcement so everyone knows really.

Is not anyone's fault if somebody sucks. "We" learnt by ourselves and didn't had this teacher stuff, and tbh, the new generation plays a lot and so much better than the old.
The focus should be on the tutorial, explaining the basic movements and the function of each joint, like how not to click randomly.
Having TA's is not a "must be" feature, at least now.
And there are already good hearted people who volunteered to be teachers in a Help Squad Thread on the beginners sanctuary, why not give attention and improve that ?
They were removed as they merged with different groups, but their jobs were being covered as they merged with (GM's I think) who were also in game specialized. Just because some don't need help, that doesn't mean some won't and so that doesn't mean it just shouldn't be on offer.
And what of the other chunk of the community, who reside solely in game? Just think about how many beginner belts you have seen that haven't posted on the forums. People don't make the connection, so they can never learn that way.
