yeah i have a layer dedicated to fur texture that i'm not going to mess with until i get the lighting and everything just right. no sense in adding the texture before you have your foundation correct. the shadows rn look kinda dead, so i'll be working on that. the puppy drawing is from life, as seen by my puppy here:
