If you guys had any actual grievances with this event, how it's organized, or the prizes they offer, you wouldn't participate in the first place. Giving constructive criticism and feedback is also an option.

Being cynical doesn't improve anything, only creates a more negative atmosphere, makes these events less enjoyable, and deters staff from investing their time and effort into these types of events in the future.
