Clan league is tryhard as shit because the really small part of the already small playerbase wants competition.
Pretty much everyone of the current alpha roster are "competitive" minded players. There were tori olympics, aikido world championships etc back in the day, nowadays, nothing.
Clan league wouldnt be as tryhard if there were other insentives to compete towards. If we had similar tournaments to compete in and win similar prizes.
But the only proper tournament a year we get is clan league. So no wonder it becomes the most tryhard of events.
