avatar should be somewhat good quality so i'd say make it size like 500x500 or something higher. (even tho highest i can use here is 110x110)
signature pic in 450x100 (biggest possible).

theme, they shall fit together but not be the same, i had something literally blub related in mind, maybe soap bubbles that float around. (have them different aligned for avatar and sig is what i mean with not the same)
ohyea and write "Blub" in both. but not just in the middle. maybe somewhere in the corner.
keep it in a realistic style if thats possible for that prize :<

colours, given you do soap bubbles do rainbowish, or generally hold it in rainbow colours cause god damn i love rainbows.
