I agree with changing it to allow replies/posting info when triggered by commands. Doesn't lend itself to chat spam and open up a lot more functionality for for bots/automated tools.
They can even reply in whisper so there is absolutely no concern for spam or flood.
I support usefull things like this that do not obstruct the game or create advantages for a specific user.
Maybe even official bots that you can summon in your room via command. So no bet room can possibly better then another bet room
