yes that is why there are loads of dead official clans

first off, cs are volunteers. They're doing it because they want to, no one is forcing them to do it.

We seem to have a disagreement over what exactly official means. Official shows that you were active and influential in some way when you were unofficial, and deserve to have your own board and fancy brackets. If you no longer fulfill those requirements, you should no longer be official.
You believe official is an achievement, and should only be lost through death. If you had it your way, every dead clan would be on that list because it's "history". All of that history can be found on the dead clans list, right along with all of the boards being moved their with this activity check.
official should be exclusive to the clans that are still very active in the community and ingame. If you die, all of your history will still be there, and if you want to actually maybe put forth some effort, you can always get your brackets and board back.

it's because they're dead. they aren't on the list. They technically aren't official.

perhaps you should request that the way legendary clans are chosen is changed. It doesn't seem like we have any voice in that. That's something I could get behind.
