basics of the flame forge
WARNING DO NOT USE THE EXACT SAME SETTINGS AS I DO.... you will not learn that way.
SECONDARY WARNING: Flames tend to be extremely expensive to make
First things first, open up toribash
Next get into free play mode.
Hit the control and L key (not sure what it is for macs as i dont use one)
This thing should pop up:
Next use the first scroll bar labeled "body part" to select a joint on which to put a flame.... I dragged it to twelve for the hand....
after you are happy with the joint selection move on to the next bar.
This second bar, labeled "timestep" controls how fast the particles on your flame move.... setting it closer to the left makes the flame particles move slowly while setting it to the right makes them move quickly. I'm setting mine to 42, for a slow effect.... sorry i cant get a good picture
next change the damping for how much the flame spreads... I want my flame to be tall so I'm going to leave it at a hundred
Blend turns your flame a whitish color and I'm not sure what sink does, I see that it makes the particles slightly closer together but not much. so im going to leave both of those alone
Next click the RGB tab... I've highlighted it in my picture
Play with the colors. R is redness G is greeness B is blueishness.... The first three sliders are the most important.... if you want you can set the others to zero... i felt like making the flame look slightly different so i didnt. Mess with it until you get the colors you want..... i personally want something to mach my set so I have gone ahead and chosen a greenish color
Next click the age tab, near the Rgb tab, you should be able to find it.
change the bars to what you desire. The first bar controls height, the second bar controls height aswell but more precisely, the third bar doesnt seem to do much, the last bar controls the concentration of particles around your body part.... in this case my hand. The last bar controls how many particles spew out of the body part.
Here is what this flame looks like so far:

Now click the next tab marked size.
Again expirement with the sliders.... i decided not to change much.

Next click the xyz tab
this controls various parts of the flame but mainly the way that it points... fell free to play with the sliders... I've turned mine into a spout, and used the command
/opt uke 0 to show it to you better.

After you are happy with your gravitation, click the last tab, and play with the sliders.... I didnt change any of them as most of them make your fame spew out in random directions and i want to keep mine relitivaley spout shaped.
Lastly name your flame, by clicking inside the white box with the words "my zawesome flame"and typing whatever text you like, i named mine sirkill's flame.
Hit the create flame button, it should take you to a page telling you the price of your flame... I'm to poor right now to afford the flame i made but, you would hit forge to create the flame... and it would appear in your deactivated inventory.
