<sid> Alright, let’s start with ingame. I first found out about Toribash around 5 years ago or so when I stumbled upon the flash game. I played around ingame for about a month or so but eventually got bored and have been almost exclusively a forum/irc user ever since. My first staff position was Wibblecop, which I got in one of rittu's events back when he used to lead the now deleted Wibbles board

<sid> ever

<PlataBear> 100%

<sid> anyways, after that I joined both the Toriagents and the Clan Council, not sure in what order
<sid> I know, can't handle all these names

<PlataBear> So many positions

<sid> from there I became a clan mod, managed the clan [#h] for a while, and then quit Toribash for a few months and now I'm back in blue

<PlataBear> And what about the sid(e) no one knows?

<sid> did you just

<PlataBear> Yes, yes I did.

<sid> Alright so IRL I'm a 20 something year old guy named Daniel with a kid (who I just so happened to name Sid after my username, but that's another story) I technically live in Canada but I'm constantly travelling, usually around Miami/Brazil because of family.

<PlataBear> Good 'ol Canada.

<sid> I speak Portuguese, Spanish, English, and French fluently.

<PlataBear> Wow

<sid> Because of that I can usually get away pretending to speak any other latin-ish language.

<PlataBear> Well then

<sid> Besides that I'd say I'm a pretty average person overall

<PlataBear> Learn some Russian and you can speak to anyone that plays this game

<sid> I pretended to speak Russian for a while, actually. Knowledge of some key words and a lot of Google translate gets you far.

<PlataBear> True that, while on the topic of the Toribash community...
<PlataBear> What keeps you involved in it?

<sid> Definitively the people

<PlataBear> Staff or just the people in general?

<sid> around 09 or so I met someone that eventually became one of my best friends ever, online or otherwise
<sid> that would be BishopONE. If it wasn't for him, I think I would've left Toribash a long time ago

<PlataBear> Well thank you BishopONE for keeping sid here
<PlataBear> But you did leave the community for a little bit. Why did you, and what made you come back?

<sid> My old clan, #h, got shut down on the grounds that it was too spammy
<sid> (hi thron)
<sid> Most of the people that I used to hang out with disbanded, and since I talked to everyone I particularly cared about on MSN at the time, I didn't feel the need to stick around

<PlataBear> But what made you return to this wonderful community?

<sid> As it turns out, most of the old people in #h ended up sticking around/coming back to the irc channel, at first I came back exclusively because of irc, and then I branched back out to the forums
<sid> Right now our channel, #hi, is the single most populous channel besides #Toribash and #support

<PlataBear> Wow, well done

<sid> I'm an smod, clan council member, clan mod
<sid> 99% sure I'm still a ToriPrime mod

<sid> Marketing.
<sid> It's kind of a long story that I don't feel like getting into :P

<PlataBear> That's fine, did you go to college?

<sid> for a while in Spain, back when I used to live there
<sid> but I never finished it

<PlataBear> What was your planned major?

<sid> I'm actually planning on going back to collage this August, it was architecture, but I lost interest halfway through
