Dueler turned into a replaymaker
Hi, hello.

Over the past couple of months, I decided not to duel as actively as I used to, mainly because I've been putting all my effort into other things. (I still do some small-time duels here and there, but nothing serious.)

One of those things was making a replay for the Ukebash event. After finishing it, I felt satisfied with the result and thought to myself, "You know, maybe I don't suck as much as I thought."

After that, I shared some of my replays with tabby and a few other people for CnC. Now, I've decided to post them publicly so everyone can see what I've been working on.

Please feel free to criticize my bashing. I'm still pretty new to it, so any feedback is appreciated. If you notice something I'm doing wrong, don't hesitate to share your thoughts just as they come. (However, please be respectful I won't tolerate comments like "you're shit at this, don't ever do it again.")

fun stuff, i always love seeing dueler vets trying ukebashing, solid replays for just starting off

lumiere was def my favorite out of these, i thought the opener was super sick with the self grab and i thought it was the cleanest overall

the one thing i say you could really work on is learning how to get better ghosting, as a lot of your hits felt sorta weak due to your leg's momentum pretty much getting halted, which also made it difficult to transition out of

keep making replays pls :3

frog up his ass or something
yeah lumiere is sick, solid launch and really satisfying hits. how you kicked off at 176 and landed that boom at 135 looked real smooth

actually all of them are fun to watch, I love the ground dm around 122 in Now and at the Hour of Our Death (1).rpl

i wanna see more!
You're doing great, you're a lot better than you think. One thing I'd recommend is power balancing when it comes to launching uke, sometimes I tend to see experience ukebashers minimize force applied to the launch so they can manip uke for longer periods of time and pick at his limbs like a vulture. You're finding out your style and I think you're doing well, trust the process and never give up.

Now and at the Hour of Our Death (1).rpl: I love the way you open up in this rpl and go for a front-sweep shuffle and just explode Uke, awesome replay.
I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World Too (2).rpl: The ass blaster into the body decimation was great, I loved the head toss at the end, solid!

SPACE AGE ETERNAL LOVE (1).rpl: Good example of what I meant by minimizing force for manips, you carried it at head-height and was able to pick apart Uke, good job.

LUMIERE.rpl: I really like the opener here with the stabbing kick-lift you did, while you had to wait for Uke to land I think your goal of dismantling him was executed swiftly.

wtf lol, the double kick knee dms r awesome and so is the knee glute boom, to say u improving quickly an understatement fr
that is really damn good, seeing a boom that size with your knee and not breaking it is insane

i'm also quite fond of the pose, a little weird but i like it
