So basicly, before had I an "illegally obtained" copy of fallout 3 and it worked fine.

Now I have recently bought the game and installed it.

So I start a new game, there I am born cast into a dark room with a nurse, my father, and mother. The nurse looks at my winky and see's that I'm a boy after I choose my gender. Dad freezes up and just stands there in his idle animation while the background noises/ machine beeps and animations do their normal loops over and over again indefinitly.


I have done numerous searches on google for how to solve this problem and NOTHING has worked.

My graphics drivers are all up to date and I'm on windows 7 32 bit.

This is my last option please help me

I even have it on the latest patch and XP service pack 3 compatibility

The (illegally obtained) version worked fine on windows 7 though..

Reinstalled it twice.

Yea, that's probably what I will have to do.

I still have the file on my hdd
