i was going to add eyelashes but every time i did it came out looking yucky

If you aimed for a realistic eye - it's too flat and really doesn't look like an human eye at all. Go read an anatomy book.

If you aimed for a doodle eye - pretty average, you could see this in a mad man scribbles along with the text "Eyes all over my body everyone's watching me constantly being watched...the eyes are looking at me.. at me looking eyes..."
