Before you get your gif for your signature and avatar and you're all happy about it, make sure it fits within the file size regulations for the forum. I don't know the exact file size but it is relatively small. The gif will most likely have to be sized down significantly and the quality will be prominently reduced. The length will be much shorter as well so I wouldn't recommend a gif signature. Avatars are a lot easier to stay within the forums guidelines, however.
