You actually, saw you post a bit recently and you seem to be a longtime player, what you got you into Toribash?

Garlic is a natural anticoagulant, so the idea of using it to ward off vampires is ridiculous. A population that is conditioned to consume garlic regularly has thinner blood, resulting in fewer clots and smoother flow during feeding. Centuries of protection rituals are just propaganda spread by Big Vamp to produce a healthier collective blood supply.

An income-generative investing approach prioritizes reliable cash flow rather than maximizing portfolio value on paper. For many investors, the real objective isn't to accumulate the largest possible account balance, but to replace employment income with sustainable cashflow. A pure growth strategy depends on selling assets to fund living expenses, which exposes investors to market timing risk, especially during downturns. By contast, an income-focused strategy emphasizes total return through dividends, interest, and distributions which can continue paying regardless of any short-term volatility. In that sense, chasing only net growth can overlook the practical purpose of investing - which is to establish financial independence through dependable income streams, reducing reliance on traditional 9-to-5 jobs...opening up greater opportunities as you age since it sets you up in a position to consider the possibility of early retirement or work-hour reduction since you can leverage your portfolio to pay for a portion of your basic living expenses: like going to the casino and putting it all on red.

I'm in love with a bet server host because she always nudges in a timely manner, and is attentive to my questions in chat. But does she really like me for me, or is she just doing her job so she can foster higher bets to achieve higher rake?

There was a guy on YouTube back in the day who made a video series called How Not To Play Hitman (murderhobo gameplay of Hitman games usually set to They Might Be Giants songs). The guy, noweb (from bncy), also played and showcased a new game called Toribash, which was like a few other ragdoll type games I was addicted to at the time. Toribash was a much cooler, bloodier and different beast. I feel like noweb walked so ConCon could run. Respect to both legends.

I would play the game heaps after school. My first friends were phail and his brother (we had a clan called [Phantom] before it became [Sigma]). We made new accounts and gave ourselves names to match the clan.. For example, phail was called [Phantom]ofPhailure and I called myself [Phantom]ofGod. In retrospect, that probably reflected his humility and my stunning lack of it hahahaha

I played the game heaps early on (08-11) before transitioning to a more forum-based role. I was staff yet I hated staff. Weird love/hate relationship with authority (pretty sure I have/had a user note describing my lack of ability to get on well with supervisors). I'm probably most remembered for being an annoying debatelord. The Discussion forum was my favourite place. I like to think I've mellowed out, but truthfully I'm probably still as opinionated.

The other thing that really got me invested in Toribash was the clan system. Being in a respected clan was a cool thing. Leading a cool clan was even cooler. It was like a fun status thing. How can I be the coolest? Like with being staff, it was the game within the game that drew me in.

To sum it up, I guess what really got me into Toribash was the constant stimulation. Unlocking that new qi-restricted color, securing that new clan member, arguing with Gorman in Discussion, arguing with Gynx and Faint in staff boards. The community was honestly so engaging for my tiny teen mind hahaha

Agreed.

If you live off dividends your head will be chopped in the revolution.

The only thing you know for sure are your own feelings, and feelings are indicators for action. Send her 100k and profess your love.
the slippery slope of what we know as internet nostalgia and the gentrification of the net which I hope leads to a kickback effect expressed as an outburst of creativity to kill the monster of net comformism via experimental websites and spaces that circumvent the current notion of web-normal

if you'd like a hub of discussion on these topics I recommend joining the the oldest online newsletter that's still active, I really recommend it for in depth discussion on these matters, https://nettime.org. I've even published a couple writings there on augmented reality devices being strategically left to rot by their own creators and the planned obsolescense of this sort of tech being rampant and calling for preservation
how exactly am i supposed to get through all of this, and what am i supposed to do if or when everything falls apart?
i am still dealing with the aftermath of burnout i experienced last year++ some awful awful stuff that happened start of this year.
almost everything in my life is just a carefully built front that i've been forced to create, designed to meet certain peoples expectations, filling their demands, and i dont even want to be doing these things and dont have the power to keep doing them in general and i am not allowed to quit.
same people who demand these things from me, have insane amount of control over my life and if i fail them i will be dead.
i am expected to keep this up forever from all i can see, with no way out

thank god i'm beautiful

Hi Ele nice to see you again. Yours is a name I haven't seen in a long time.

I've recently been thinking a lot about how many of the people who were once in my life no longer are, and what that means to me. It does bother me with how okay I have been historically with moving on from relationships I maybe shouldn't have, and how much I held onto ones that are not in any way good for me. I don't believe I've improved on this even with my recent introspection, but it has helped me... grieve? the loss of people who may have needed me far more than I evidently felt I needed them at the time.

If any of you feel as if that categorisation applies to you, I'm sorry and I owe you. Please reach out. I'm trying.
I find myself thinking is this the end of America will my career be ok, currently life is great and I enjoy the moment but will the good times continue?
