The vast majority of Canada is English speaking. Quebec is the only Provence where French is Primary rather than secondary (it has around 8million people). However, due to the tourists and such, many quebecers learn English. Further east, in the smaller pacific coastal provinces, most people are bilingual, and many are completely fluent in both languages.

I'm from southern Ontario, so French is never used in daily life. I have never used it in public. I am choosing to learn it because I would use it if the opportunity arises, it would be cool to be able to speak two languages, and I just really want to say I can XD. Silly reasons, but if it's enough to make me learn it, that's ok. Plus, it might help for future jobs.

Oh i have tried and I know people that speak fluent Portuguese it is not as hard as you would think but similar to Spanish which makes it somewhat easy

Sometimes Birno and his friend Skander invite me to their calls Skander isn't the strongest at English so they speak in Arabic. It sounds so strange but really cool (I love the sound of other languages, one of the reasons I want to learn French ;o)

Your English seems phenomenal. I mean you might have an accent when you speak (I'm assuming), but as far as your typed response is concerned, you're great! I still think the funniest language so far (in the clan) is killapone's Icelandic.
