Last time I played an elite game it was '93 & it was buggy as fuck much like it's predecessor, never bothered with the 3rd. I hear the 4th is just as broken as the older ones. Nice to see things don't change. ;)

Would be nice if they didn't fuck this one up, I enjoyed the games until they decide to fall apart. Not sure if I could be bothered with the always online crap though, I like soloing stuff without outside annoyances from time to time.

If you want a change of pace you could give Oolite a go, it's a free "remake" of the original with a bunch of other addons n' stuff.
