with Dead Island, im not really into the whole, horror/survivor genre, and Left 4 Dead kinda has that one covored, that and Dead Rising.

as for Duke Nukem.....well........i never played the first ones, and dont think im gonna start on this one. the driving looks way too cartoony, and the voice acting is absolutely horrible. and idk, i dont like games where the guns arent realistic, and where it takes thousands of rounds to kill something.
