It's about time a promising RPG came onto the scene, and Risen looks alright. It better be -- after all it's from the same developers that made Gothic games, with which any RPG fan is familiar.

I think it came out today, but i will wait a little to see what's up. So far most reviews are positive, but not all.

Good so far. Very gotic-ish feel to it.
But i only got to first camp and haven't done much.

PSS: PB really went "to the roots" with this one. They tried new stuff in Gothic 3 (which failed hard) but this game they tried to stay close to traditional gothic style, and it looks like it worked.

That's what risen greatly resembles. Gothic with prettified graphics and different story/environment.

PROTIP: if you have never played Gothic 1, DO IT.

I think you could assign another button for that in settings.

Comparing Risen to COD4 is like comparing my ass to my finger...it makes no sense.
Totally different games, achieving totally different things.
