Game suggestions.
I'm sure most of you had some concepts of games in their mind, this is a thread for you to share your ideas about a game that you would create first if you had the money and knowledge to create it.
My concept of a game, inspired from toribash(credits to hampa),I'm going to talk deeply about it and explain every aspect of it.

Style and main focus:It is an arcade game where could you can customize the way you attack, the way you defend and the way you move, you can also customize the way you look in an innovative way,it is a game where you have full control of creating your own character.Because this would be an arcade game, you would able to have much more complex terrains.

Attack Mechanism:You have 4 buttons in each you have 50 frames to design your own attack move, let's take these buttons as (A,S,D,F),so let's say you go to the move editor.Their a rag doll or something like endorphin's guy will appear and you will be able to have full control of the movements of the joints, these 50 frames will be split up to 5/10frames so you can change your joints every 10 frames in the move.A simple example for (A) would be that you would make your player move his right hand and punch and then let's after he does it in the first 30 frames he would move his hand upward and perform an elbow, the button (B) would be the same move but with the opposite hand.

Defense Mechanism:These same buttons that you use for attack, you use them for defense but this time you would be pressing shift or alt...Let's say in Shift(A) you would perform a butterfly block to protect your body and Shift(B) would make you block your face.

Movement and Starting position:Now for movements of course their is the arrows, the unique part of this game is that you can pick the way you jump,run,walk...The starting position would be of your design too making it more fun.All the other moves that are (A,S,D,F) start with the joints of your starting position(crouching style would rock )

Pointing system or Damage system:For me pointing systems would be of two kinds, one where if a player receives a certain amount of damage he loses,of course attack to the head would hurt more then an attack to the leg,but it doesn't always depend on that, the damage dealt would rely on the force of the attack, that involves velocity too.The other kind of pointing system would be similar to toribash's one just over an amount of time.

Weapons:Another nice feature would be that every character can have the option of picking his own weapon(sword...)I'm not keen about being able to create your weapon but as long as their limitations it would be OK.

NOTE:You might argue that you can use arrows for movements other then walking but if you don't follow the controls given then most likely the people doing it will lose a lot of stuff like the ability to move(obvious hah). Also of course their would be default keys.

Customization of the look:This idea is also inspired by toribash's texturing system but implemented in another manner. The default character would be a normal person wearing pants or whatever and from their you have the ability to customize many things.First, you can change his skin colour and then you can buy for him a certain style of hair, let's say spiky then for this hair you have a texture so you can customize everything in it.Same system would be used for pants,T-shirts,boots...

Mine would be an MMO where you have the ability to travel through time to certain points. Basically you start out in the time of cavemen, and as you reach certain levels, you advance through time to take advantage of newer technology and get better weapons and equipment. You can also travel anywhere on the planet your on (Doesn't necessarily have to be Earth). You would have all the normal stats like Strength, speed, Etc. you would have proficiency with ranged attacks. you can also get vehicles so you have how good a pilot/driver you are. you would get a meter that has to be high enough to travel through time and also determines how high the jumps can be.

Like Civilization but a shooter right ?

(all rights reserved to me, just in case)

That is a nice idea too but I'm guessing everything will be very slow motion as you said because it would be hard otherwise
Oh man, i have a ton of ideas for games in my head. But, to avoid boring you to death and/or committing suicide because they probably won't ever become real, i'll just give you one of them.

It's an FPS game, as fast-paced as they come, kinda like Serious Sam, but much more sci-fi. You control a typical protagonist, who might not be human. From checkpoint to checkpoint, you are under a constant and intense assault, giving you very few breathers and keeping you on the edge of your seat all the time.
Enemies have ranged and melee attacks, with the former being either instant hit or a projectile attack. Instant hit is weaker, but undodgable (aim is slightly delayed though), while projectiles can be avoided and/or shot down, but are dangerous if they hit. You almost always under attack, so you'll have to dodge a fusillade of munitions, all while returning fire. From time to time, you'll also have to face deadly bosses, some so powerful that you actually have to run away from them in order to proceed. Naturally, they won't make it easy for you. Keep running, or they will destroy you with a melee attack.
The protagonist himself is a very strong, tough and well-armored individual, so you can take a good deal of punishment when compared to ordinary humans, and you can beat most non-boss enemies in a one-on-one brawl. This is compensated by the great number of enemies, however, which could easily exceed one hundred per checkpoint, which again could mean that you got swarmed by melee foes while being pelted from a distance.
The game would have some sort of story, though nothing particularily epic, considering the nature of the game. There will, of course, be more to do than just going from A to B while killing enemies. You might also have to hold a position, drive a vehicle or even do one of the dreaded escort missions.

I could keep going about that game. :U
