What sets us apart from them other animals?
I say it's because we can clone, we discovered how to fly, we discovered how to go under 300 ft of water, we discovered how to go space. Human is just an all terrain mammal that can survive in any condition except in Acid.
Any other animal on this planet wouldn't have a chance in another biome. Because they were specifically evolved for that terrain and have developed ways to hunt through generations. Humans on the other hand could go to any environment because technically we are the top predators on this planet. We're agile, smart, strong, and it doesn't take long for us to adapt to another biome. Like mountainous terrain to desert terrain. If you're not an idiot you can get through both other animals can not because they don't know how to hunt for they food they want they can't chuck stones at mountain goats because they don't have the right hands to climb the cliff and to pick up a stone to chuck it at the goats head. Unless you're an eagle you can hunt anywhere pretty much.
Also the aiblity to think of new concepts is just a human attribute as seeing animals hunt in one particular way, but human will find a number of ways to hunt. And contemplating is also another pretty human attribute as seeing we plan years ahead for education. Animals merely plan ahead because winter, but they don't contemplate it. They just do it.
We aren't that different, but we are the most varied species on this planet. Since we live on mountains, deserts, forests, in high altitudes, extremely cool places too.
