Now this is more then 200 right ,and fluxit these categories sound great,I should put this in events and put those categories,1700 mods are a lot so these cat, work well.So you're saying also I should request a screenshot with every mod you categorize:Sounds good since 1k for doing all that isn't that much.1k-10mods then we need 170k which I don't have,50k from me and I will pm Zinx about the funding,Budget=100k so we still need 70k but I still think we can get a funding of 70k by the time we reach 1000mods.Also with the running, parkour also sounds fine. How should we do this,A person does 10mods,then we he is finished the other continues,I'm thinking of a system were a person applies for the amount of mods he wants to do then he is given a span of 8hours for every 10mods he does,if he doesn't finish it at that time then he is not paid and then I pm the next applicant. Also, when a person finishes the work asked from him,he is put in the list and next to his user name is the price he should be paid when this is done, cause it's a hassle to send tc everytime. Also maybe A Blacklist.Seems pretty complex, but can Work I think, any suggestions?

Great suggestion, you can help me being part of the project, helping me and stuff although I came up with the idea I don't have pretty much the knowledge to do it all,we should use excel from the first place. And the Preview were done very fast sorry .Are you ever on Irc?

The description idea sounds pretty nice,on the categories:
multiplayer (= symmetric or at least fair)
- weapons
- environment
- no added objects (altering body parts slightly would be ok)
- running(Running is too precise I think)Maybe sports would be better here that includes running)
- fun & experiments
If we find more categories are needed during the process,we will add. What do you think?
The Mod Team did something very similar to this a little while ago, we came to the conclusion that you can't separate them into category's unless they're very literal (for example: environment mods, body mods, mixed, game modes.) and doing that would yield too many mods in one category. The conclusion was to just have tags for each mod (so a parkour mod would be, for example: running, environment). Iirc, we never settled on a finished list of "official tags" and the project was dropped when hampa suggested something different.

I don't know about storing nearly 2,000 images where ever you're planing on keeping this "list" when it's finished, but if we can agree on a tag system that works, maybe the Mod Team can try to get it implement into a kind of search on the site, most likely replacing the old "Mods" button at the top (which I think was the original idea).
The main purpose of this was to help people find types of mods easier,The mod idea on the forum is essential too, with a search feature.Tags sound good and I think they can be implemented ingame too, right? Also,I think it's easier the way you suggested. How many tags, you think should possible. Also we are going to use excel ,write the mod then beside it the tags:then a small description, maybe a thumbnail for the forum, not sure yet.
It could be implemented into the game, but it's not likely. I do see the convenience of it being in-game, it's just easier and faster to put and leave it on the forum (from the developer's stand point). Seeing as you can have the forum and toribash open at the same time, it shouldn't be that big of a deal.
There should be enough tags that it covers every potential mod . . .around 10 maybe less? They can't be too specific, so what you said earlier would be a good starting point.
- weapons
- environment
- no added objects (altering body parts slightly would be ok)
- running(Running is too precise I think)Maybe sports would be better here that includes running)
- fun & experiments

how about:
- weapons
- environment
- game modes (or just modes)
- body mods (or just body)
- sports

If you can think of a mod that doesn't fit into some kind of combination of these tags, we can amend them accordingly. Edit: or if they're too broad.

Excel's fine, I donno about a thumbnail, I see how it would be helpful, but it takes up a lot of space, especially as we get into the 1,000's of thumbnails.

EDIT: Someone move this into mods, suggestions, or events.

We we're discussing it here so that when everything is set and ready,I will open a thread in the events board.1 thumbnail takes 40kb of space, that is not much in my opinion.
