^Essentially true. The new clan system, and the ability for individuals to buy their own server has led to there being *far* too many privately run servers.
Sure, there are now >100 servers, but the vast majority are clan::[nubcaek].
Also, the semipro/beginner distinction isn't a bad idea. I remember how annoying it was to even have brown belts on when i was a beginner, and it dosen't even concern many people on this thread, i think, beyond the newbies having somewhere black-belt free to play, which in turn keeps them from taking their flame/spam/ onto the other servers.
Oldschooler only servers? That's taking the oldschooler superiority complex a bit far. I've seen a lot of oldschoolers who are dicks, and there are many non-oldschooler players who are valuable and active members of the community. I'm not sure why anyone would want these (servers) anyway.
ofc, >blackbelt servers are a great idea, but there are already some around anyway...
