Hi hello

I made my avatar into a texture.
Now, usually I hate noses/lips and human faces on textures in general, they don't look right, but I'm pretty pleased with how this is turning out.
I think it suits my rough style

In the spirit of making it just like my avatar, I tried a head dress version, which imo doesn't work, so I'm now ditching that idea to go with a half shaved head and plait kind of deal although I've literally just done the outline of that atm

programs used GIMP and I'm using a mouse for this one





cnc and ideas for the rest of the set appreciated.
I'm planning on doing loads of tattoos and body paint, like the face

Also big eyes are big for a reason O.O

You're right, the eyes are rather large.
I'll see what it's like if I make them slightly smaller, and yeah, the shape seems slightly off.
I'd like to find a way to change their shape without completely starting them again, because I can't be arsed with that.

As for the mouth, I decided that an open mouth would look too odd on a sphere.
I initially did have it open but it just didn't look right, so I decided to just close it


The hairline, I think i'm gonna remove the black outline, and add the "scratchy" shading once I have my tablet back


Been experimenting with the jaw and I just cannot got it right...
