North Korea
Hello,

With the recent news that North Korea launched a rocket in orbit. It seems pretty upfront that North Korea isn't really abiding by any international agreements. Furthermore, I was watching a documentary, and I was blatantly surprised how crazy North Korean citizens were about their president!

It distinctly reminded me of George Orwell's "1940". Now such a regime has been in recent years fought very hard. A few examples would be Gadafi and Syria's president Assad. It's also a common argument that America(and other affiliates) had a hand in all these "revolutions" against the state.

So, here comes the question. What do you think will be the next step for North Korea be? How will everyone respond to it? Also, what do you think about the North Korean regime. If you have more information, it would be awesome that you share it. (if it's a certain particular event, include references, please)

Cheers.
Your messed up world enthrills me

Uh no that would start world war 3 4 5 and 6 i do think we should solve this god damn isis issue then withdraw troops but if we nuke them that would bring hell upon us politically and physically because we have supply lines out there and we are allies with some out there

Personally, I believe that in regards with ISIS, a nuke would really work. The losses are very easily out weighed by the pros. I understand that it would kill "innocent" children, but are they really innocent? I mean, if we kill their parents in the war, they will grow up to hate americans. But if we kill them all, problem solved. And as Hyde said, the nation should protect their own people, and in this case, regarding both North Korea and Isis, the nation failed.

Lol tbh i really hope your joking. Nukes and war wont solve anything. The problem with America is you guys "solve" fights with more fights and with more violence. Not every problem in the world needs to be solved with nuking them. Yeah sure isis has done some pretty terrible shit but think of not only the effect it will have on people and the generations of deformities ect. but also the enviroment. If you havent noticed already the enviroment is already totally screwed up and nuclear bombs wont be helping the cause. I know this thread isnt about isis and about North Korea but regardless the same thing goes.

How many times will it take the US to figure out war does not solve anything.
Holy shit.

This convo went from talking about NK to basically everybody against Necessity.

No, I didn't read the entire thing because I don't have the time but...
nvm just read it. My opinion still stands.

You talk about human lives as if they're worthless pennies, and nukes as if they're just a parcel waiting to be sent off.

From what I DID read, you are the reason why the USA has such a bad, pro-gun, pro-nuke, pro-violence reputation.

Necessity, do your research before you spread such racism and hate, and do some more thinking about the consequences of "just dropping a nuke". It would solve an immediate problem, but the problem afterwards would be sooo much worse. Isis is the result of a minority with radical thinking, just like the Taliban, and al-Qaeda.

Even if you don't necessarily think of the civilians who get killed (which obviously, don't matter much to you), there's plenty of resources that would be destroyed as well.

Seriously though, read a fucking book. I legitimately feel unease about people who share your opinions. I'm not saying that there's not just the slightest hint of reasoning behind your logic, but I think you need to take a look at the bigger picture and the drawbacks of a nuclear attack.

The North Koreans are a joke. They're brainwashed to believe their leader Kim Jong-un is the son of God. And Kim Jong-il is God himself.

Every single book in North Korea is "written" by Kim Jong-il. They only believe what they're allowed to believe. They only see what they're allowed to see. With that said, you can't exactly blame them for being like this. The only true person to blame is their leader, and super officials. We don't know what their next step is. Because they bullshit everything they say. They want to kill us (Mainly Americans), but they can't. They're in their own little bubble.

We can't just go and attack them. Since they do have a high populated army. Plus, their civilians can't just be slaughtered because we hate their leader. i honestly don't have a solution on what to do about them. They're a nation with very big guns. America is a nation with very big guns. We can only go to war if we did anything.

No No, I read through the thread myself. SkyWhale was right on the money. As were many others. Your only answer for many of these world issues are to murder and "nuke" them. You started to talk about ISIS too, for whatever reason. Maybe think of a different path besides murder. You got any? I sure do. But not with Kim Jong-il. There is no real solution with him. His people are brainwashed and literally don't know about the rest of the world. I pity them...

A solution as of war isn't that easy. It's not like your people won't die, and theirs won't either. Civilians on either end can be murdered. Pearl Harbor for instance. People couldn't believe it happened on US soil.

You need chill the fuck out with this nuke business. You sound racist for your pov, you wanna nuke the fuck outta a whole county, and wipe them off the map because of a terror group in the county? No. If you wanna get rid of bug, you get pesticide that kills only that bug, and prevent killing other animals. I hope that you ARE uneducated, and not actually believing in killing shit ton of people.

As for North Korea, they play around with their power. They try get other countries riled up from their fake ass weapons you see on TV. Well I say that when they may be real, but in reality they do not have any way of making a war atm.

I do not advocate the use of nuclear weapons, and isis are actively being bombed by multi-nation coalitions. You don't seem to grasp the scale of the problem.

Just going to add this to clear it out for the rest of you so the topic doesn't get spoiled by misinformation.

The definition of a Nation turning into a State you have to recognized as such from other countries. As of today, ISIS is not considered a Country, mainly due to that reason. Also, they don't define themselves as a State, they define themselves as a worldwide caliphate if I'm not mistaken.
