I was in a heavy discussion with my friend last week now I would like to hear your opinions:

Would you like a KI to be existing, that is controlling and managing several sources at once ? For example like J.A.R.V.I.S. from the marvel universe.

Please argue detailed and don't just say you are against, say why you are against or why you are for it. Also you can write alternative solutions.

Why don't you summarise your point of view on it, to get the discussion started?

Well I am rather against giving a KI / AI / VI such power because when you want to create something that works independent the best example we have is a human, and we are not perfect. So when you make a KI work like a human, it will work willful and maybe unsecure. We don't want some siths like they are in star wars, really.

True AI is pretty scary, there's a good reason many famous scientists/engineers say it's our best bet at exterminating ourselves outside natural disasters.

yeah! the polics came by to my thread.. uhm I heard hilary clintion is a reptile, guess she is in a kinda detached lobby for somebody to prove this. So a good postion for a shift shaper.

anyways well I can only explain somebody that wants a computer to think and rate something by himself as a lazy person, I would prefer comfort by letting some task be done automaticly but I'm glad that I'm not so lazy that I would overload a computer with wide access and something like a mind.
What would we be anyways if we would stop thinking and moving.. I refer to movies like Wall-E
