If you really do insist on doing them then only do it with people who'll pay, because we can't do anything to make them pay, and we can't do anything to get money back.

you basically are letting people scam then with your words, what is the point of knowing the user will pay when you say this, they could easily change their ways and be evil and not send

If someone wasn't gonna pay up after losing then us supporting usd scams wouldn't change that as there is physically nothing we can do about it
this is how it it should've always been. seek help for your gambling problem if you don't agree LMAO

every usd transaction should be banned then from this reasoning
Thing is we can't actually stop it happening, well we could, but that would be no transfers of any form.
Simply put the only way to remove real money bullshittery is to remove the ability for people to sell things.

But we're not dumb and know that shit wont fly, so it comes down to users equipping a bit of common sense to lessen the risk. Even then there's no 100% safe way for you to do this, and seeing a user get hit recently for a $ transaction over a year ago should serve as a warning to anyone.

I mean we could ban it, but people will still do it. Instead of not sending the money, they will just not send and report themselves you essentially get no money and a ban

I think Reimbursement should not be supported, however Duel Scamming is still Scamming. The reward of the scam might not be refundable but if the proof is concrete, as all Duel Scam reports typically are, the offender should still be banned/punished.

In this way, it is not fully supported however it still is a "hey, fuck off" factor when USD Dueling. Or else, like Nerf and iTemp have been saying, there is unlimited value in USD Dueling to your heart's content. If you win, there's a chance that you get USD. If you lose, you can always just abuse the lack of support and skedaddle. At the same time this change was so insignificant and unannounced that one part of the spectrum would easily have the opportunity to abuse it while they can. People losing might assume they still have to cough up the cash. Aforementioned, there's not a matter of "trustworthiness" in this part of the community anymore because there's nothing to lose by dipping, whereas before high stake duelers typically cared to keep themselves off a ZT/BoS.

Plus, if USD Duels aren't supported then every non-toribash duel related instance should also not be supported. People duel for CSGO Skins and other things just as often.

They aren't. We provide support for items and toricredits being dueled, and we give bans for art-related duels. Any other scam report is disregarded as per rule one of our dueling policies.

Where that misconception came from is beyond me—it's specifically stated in our guidelines what we do and don't support.
