1. The melancholy of a war

A roar that shakes the world can be heard in the heart of the war leaving the remaining soldier around that man trembles in fear. A figure that slowly consumed by madness after witnessing the fall of someone important to his life, the gradually change on his beloved person’s skin color as three spears stabbed around her.

With a swift move he grabs all the spears and snap it into two with his bare hand. His eyes are bloodshot throwing the tip of the spear with devilish accuracy. Several soldier’s tremble stopped and advance to face a useless attempt to subdue him. Soldier by soldier turn into corpse within a second, a tornado of slash can be seen in the heart of the encirclement. However, it doesn’t matter how strong he is, he is outnumbered. A lot of soldiers join and strike from all side which leave several wounds on his body.

A precise stab landed on his hearts, a blood tears fell down on his face. His energy got seeped out due to blood loss, he crawls trying to get to his beloved.

“Oh my beauty, i am terribly sorry i can’t protect you like i promise. But, i will always be with you”

He grab her hand and rub it gently full of affection doesn’t care that the soldier are readying themselves to stab him with spears.

Darkness come, as he can’t remember what happened next. Soon that darkness turn to bright light from a certain smiling figure that he knew well.

“I am back sweetie”

2. A sudden confession

“Hey, hey… Are you being serious here?”
“What, do you accuse me for not being serious?”

“No, no… That wasn’t the case. Seriously what would do you expect me to react that if you speak like that bluntly and no build up or anything”
“It is easy duh, don’t complicated things. All you need to do is answer it”

“What do you mean by answer it!!! I would if i can, why do you suddenly said that at the first place.”
“Have you ever thought that single action can change the outcome?”

“Butterfly effect, I KNOW!! But, what is the relation between that and your confession”
“Well… You remember that you throw a baseball to a window of sleepy truck? You saved me back then, and your kindness warmth me up.”

“But...but, we both are a girl”

A short red hair girl raise her arm that covered with long sleeve jacket, gives out a small smile with a reddish tint on her cheek bravely declare.

“Love can do anything duh… Just try it”

3. The horror of the night

A raspy breath can be heard across the long corridor. Not to far from a figure of a woman, a huge silhouette holding a big machete tiptoed with pace faster than human can imagine. The woman keep looking at her back on every turn hoping she manage to escape from it. Tears rolled down due to the fear, her hand and back of her neck covered with cold sweats.

She slammed a door as she enter a room and throw every objects she can found to hold the door. Inside her mind, she is sure that this is futile but her fear clouded her judgement. A loud thump can be hear from the door.

“No no no no...Please... Stop…” She begs shivered. Her whole body trembles uncontrollably as it bang the door with the machete..

The bang keep getting louder and louder, she crouch at the edge of the room couldn’t stand up. Her legs has given up on running. Suddenly everything went silent.

‘Please..please...wake me up from this nightmare’

Suddenly, from behind her right through from the wooden wall pair of hands can be seen emerge out of it. She yelped as the machete dig to her cuts and cues the ending of the horror of the night.
