I vote normal ABD or ABD, Greykido, Rb & Aikido. It would reduce confusion. PM me a competitor list and I can have a bracket ready in 10 minutes flat.

That's like a firemans carry right? I've hit a few of those.

Olympic style is without the leg grab, straight over the shoulders. It's illegal to grab below to belt while standing, and that wrinkles my panties more than anything in judo.
I've hit fireman's in wrestling practice by using only my shoulder as a fulcrum to throw them over. Looks really slick

Okay thats great but I want to get back to the Roux Whip.

Calling all judokas (Iskenos). Please look at these replays and tell me what this resembles. I can say it's surely of the te-waza catagory and looks like one of the otoshi throws but i can't pin which one it is.

This technique is ready to be added to the library but i want see if it fits in the judo dicipline.

It really isn't supposed to be a real judo throw. I made the roux whip in toribash, for toribash. It's based on my thought that someone is helpless when they have no ground base, and you have their momentum. I'll update this after i get home and watch your replays.

I've come to the realization that you can call just about anything a "variation" or a "hybrid" judo throw. It strongly resembles an uki otoshi, variated to a deep squatting position and throwing uke. The name doesn't matter all that much honestly, and I think Roux deserves credit for this throw.
Ofc credit will always go where it is due. I just don't want to be re-inventing the wheel here, so to speak. Also knowing what judo technique this relates to will help us better understand the roux whip.

uki otoshi

seoi otoshi

Looking at the gifs above i would say that the roux whip uses the grip and throwing mechanics of the seoi otoshi, while implementing the foot placement of the uke otoshi.

Mr Rouxster and Mr Iskenos do you concur?

It's not supposed to be a real move.

You're doing it wrong; it's not that simple. To do it correctly, the dude has to be up in the air, and you need to use your arms to whip him violently to the ground. Like I said, this is not a real judo technique. Disregard the demo vid I took and the one replay that looked like a hip throw. I'll attach two true roux whips once again.
