His name was Monty (Monster) - He was 18 months old and a russian blue.
He was the sweetest cat in existence, he never bit, hissed or scratched anyone. Such a gentle heart. He was about 1/2 the size of a regular russian blue. Runt of the litter and then some, he was perfectly healthy but... tiny.
In mid june I let him out of the house and went to work, when I cam back he was lying at the door and being rather grumpy. He had been beaten up by the neighbourhood cats. Because of his small size and pacifistic tendencies he got picked on a lot by other cats. He started being allowed out again last month
He was hit by a car, I didn't see the car or the driver but one of my neighbour's brought him to my door. He was in a lot of pain so I took him to the vet, he had a displaced spinal disk and a broken hip. I thought he was okay so I took the painkillers and took him home. For a few days he was rather lifeless, but then he started to get a bit more lively. If I stroked him he'd headbutt my hand and softly meow at me. Then he started to try and seclude himself. He knew he was going to die, cats like to go to private places to die. He died whilst I was at work and my sister's boyfriend found him.
I'm never going to forget him, he was genuinely the sweetest living thing I've ever encountered.
