I will, but in the mean time, here's a single leg wrap, as opposed to a double leg wrap, and no, it isn't the same as a single leg takedown. Wrapping the leg up in your arm while grabbing the torso. You do not directly grab the leg, and this causes for a much tighter technique, if you can get it. If you're going to tell me it's basically a single leg, consider this: Why is Mounting/Guarding in T4 while Pulling Guard is in the BJJ tier?

This is a very good technique especially coming from a judo guy. Roux will correct me but isn't that similar to the wrestler's cradle? idk.. but nice job iskenos we should defintely take a look at that.

To answer your question about T4, tiers is designed to introduce members to concepts in the lower tiers and then advance into a general technique and finally in the advanced tiers you learn specific variations.

Think of it like evolving pokemon
basic suplex -> proper suplex
snapdown ->half throw -> full throw
half throw -> footsweep -> hiza guruma
pin pressure -> mounting/guarding -> guard sweep

as for the bjj tier im not finished working that out.

Thanks Aquita, I understand what the tiers do and all, as it's very similar to the gokyo-no-waza in judo, Roux just likes to liken these techniques under a massive over-generalizing "half throw" or whatever. I just wanted to shoot that denial down.

To answer your question Aquita, this technique is similar to a cradle, but in wrestling you wrap one arm around the leg, then clasp your hands together in a seatbelt fashion. You don't really get any opportunities to grab the torso in wrestling.

Its very similar to a bjj half guard sweeping technique because you can hook the leg and grab the belt of uke. very strong grip. nice job iskenos.

Then shut this bitch down! By the way, not joking on the slightly used virgins, they're your's for a respectable price.
What I meant was that he doesn't give any room for variation at all. Check out my yoko otoshi post, which "is" a half throw, but it has an added sweep with the inner thigh. Where I come from, that would be recognized as a variation and respected.
