Also guys: Should this clan be managed democratically or should this me a monarchy (I would be the king and aka/eki, dru/0ri the council)?

well you didnt quite got it, if its a democracy everyone has the same power and so as to make ANY decition everyone should vote.

Remember too that there is also a thing called republic which is more similar to what you are describing
