first episode was also okay for me, but it's just so melodramatic, and the plot
has a bunch of holes, and the characters are extremely one dimensional or
developed with forced drama
i'm too biased to Evangelion to give a proper assessment :c
i love everything Evangelion!
though some people don't seem to realize that the Rebuild films are not that good as standalones, you need to watch the entire tv series for a proper
experience (and the movie)
i'm not just referring to the 'sequel' theory, but just as an informative perspective
as the tv series gives some insight to aspects that the Rebuild glosses over,
or just subtle references and nods to the original
3.33 should definitely not be looked as a standalone, it's more of a build-up to
3.0 + 1.0, though if that turns out to be shit, well fuck it
Haven't watched it yet. Haven't even heard of it. What is going on with Erased?
