Bleach ended today, too bad SJW decided to axe it, they could've given Kubo at least 14 more chapters to wrap it up so it'd end nicely at no. 700. Well, shit happens, I'm kinda disappointed as it was the only 'big 3' manga I liked somewhat and the last arc up to the ~675 chapter when he got to know he has to wrap it up was really decent. I followed it for ~10 years.
Looking back at arcs, I'd rate them as follows:
- Substitute Shinigami, 8/10
- Soul Society 10/10 (that bankai, that hollow takeover vs kuchki, that 'yo' during actual rescue, that aizen surprise)
- Mexico 6/10 (with high points being fights with grimmjow and ulquiorra)
- Fake Karakura Town 6/10 (ups and downs, too many filler arrancar fights, good stark fight, retarded aizen transformations after a while, cool FGT)
- Fullbring 4/10 (nothing really came out of it, boring as shit up the final chapters, potential wasted)
- Quincy Invasion minus last 10 chapters 8/10 (decent plot, generally good fights, top trolling with bullshit abilities)
- Last 10 chapters 1/10 (not an arc but meh, gotta put it somewhere. Tons of unresolved plots, simply too many to write down, axed hard).
General rating, 6/10 due to that shitty end.
The only thing that makes the whole stuff slightly better is the overflowing butthurt about the final ships, especially from the Ichiruki crowd. The ship has sunk and the tears are delicious.
Cool now that it is done I'll read it all.
