The laser is coming out on the wrong angle, and there isn't a good contrast between the text and background. However portal is pretty cool.

Fish: what exact location? If you see carefully, I only edited the render (turret and laser) when it touches the orange portal:

A replay of ticux(dag) beating me...he went on to beat me 15 more times and I didn't win once.
