I literally just spent all my money on other programs(and my sexy tablet).

not freeware,
PS6 about 600$
Mudbox about 800$
but ... you know.. you can easely get it for free if you know how. try this soft for free, and then if you like it, and you will plan to have some profit from using this progs, buy it. I dont like the idea to buy such expensive soft for some kind of hobby, and use it like once a month without any profit.

yes. russians dont wanna pay hundreds and thousands of $ for soft if it doesnt make profit. And thats not a topic for discussion here, i guess.
next step is to make the doll, that you can move. to draw the elbow when contracted, for example.
I want to have the doll that looks and behave the same like you see it ingame. So we need to make a skeleton. Anyone can help, or i need to learn it by myself, again?

ok. tutorial, how to add textures after obj importing

then you can draw right on this new layers
-----
step 1. load the doll.obj
step 2. create materials for each part! they should be named differently.
step 3. import the layers on each part named as bodyparts.

after obj loading, you have to create materials. if you managed to open doll.mud, materials are already exist, and you have to delete old layers before add your premade textures.
