Greykido Tutorial
Almost everything in Aikido applies with Greykido
1. Play in relax all: Playing in relax will allow you to counter shovels , lifts, and suplex easier.
2. Try not to contract your knees: Even with lower center of gravity, it will usually end with jumping into the air so you should keep your knees relaxed.
3. Keep 2-3 limbs on the floor: 1 limbs on the ground causes instability and usually lifts. With 4 limbs on the ground, you might as well be a dummy waiting to lose.
4. Learn when to extend/contract wrists: By contracting/extending your wrists, you control your opponents arms.
5. Keep lower center of gravity: Keep knees relaxed to maintain balance. Lower center of gravity makes suplex and lifting easier and harder for them to lift you. From the bottom, you can strike them without hurting yourself.
6. Never depend on the pads: The pads are pretty buggy so always try to control the center.
Tips and Tricks
1. To extend an arm, contracting your wrist increases the speed of the extension.
2. Extended feet increases the length of your leg to touch the ground
3. When an opener doesn't work the way you want, small changes like raising an arm will fix it.
