1. Kyure I feel that's only your opinion.

2. Mongius thanks for all the info

3. Mongius make sure to PM me whenever I gotta update my PC whether via overclock or upgrade please. Thanks again.

4. I'm looking into some good cases and monitors so I'll keep you guys updated on that ;)

5. Case Suggestions anyone? I'm looking at this since it's compatible with Immortal's 400$ Build from PM - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-cc9011086ww

6. My current monitor selected on PCPP is the Acer G246HL. I've done some research on it. Idk if I'll buy it right now because it's a little pricey. I might upgrade to it later on. Thoughts?

7. Immortal, don't AMD CPUs overheat though?

8. Mongius the CX Series of Corsair and generally distrusted and prone to damaging other components :/ Would you agree or disagree?

9. To clarify, Mongius' Build is for all my purposes, Immortal's Build from PM is for running Rust at 30FPS. Did I get that right?

10. Immortal, you know the build you PM'd me? The 400$ one? How much would it cost us to get M.2 compatibility? It's just for Rust and maybe we don't need it but M.2 is always nice. What do you think? Also, found this - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyt...gab150md3hddr3

I'd get the 970, AMD is still notorious for overheating. 970 works for me fine and I run multiple games on multiple monitors at once with no problem.

I have the msi something or another, have you considered water cooling? I use a closed loop system and it's super quiet

Good to know ^_^ Yeah the 970 has an amazing reputation :) Personally I love it. It's arguably the best GPU as of right now. And by saying AMD is still notorious for overheating are you referring to the GPU suggestion from Kyure or the CPU suggestion from Immortal or both?

As far as CLCs go I don't intend on getting one immediately. And Soul if you plan on getting watercooling then CLCs are much safer if it's your first time to make sure that you don't soak your PC And for the 970 I personally would go with the EVGA GeForce GTX 970 FTW+ ACX 2.0+. EVGA has a good reputation when it comes to GPUs and they make really good units IMO. Soul for your GPU you might wanna consider EVGA over ASUS? Just my opinion really. Also I've heard ASUS has some problems idk. I don't think I actually have any parts chosen that are ASUS so far XD I chose a really nice Acer monitor And ASUS makes a bunch of stuff so they might not be as focused on GPUs compared to some other manufacturers. Again just my opinion It's your call.

I feel at this point it's hard to believe you since everyone else here disagrees with you. 970 is loved everywhere I've went dude. Tomshardware, Logicalincrements, PCWorld, PCPartpicker and other places. I feel like you found the only 2 places that you could use against the 970. Why not some websites that are more mainstream? Because they love the 970 from what I've seen. And AMD is literally the volcano of hardware XD I doubt it runs cooler. And EVGA has very good to superior cooling to AMD. And the heat comparing is the only thing you didn't cite. Sorry if your just trying to help but you can see why I am having trouble believing you. So far everything you've posted here has been disproved and everywhere I've been the 970 has been loved by all. It's a good GPU from what I've seen everywhere except your post so you can see your in the minority. If you feel you really are correct then if you have spare time I'd like to see you convince me more ;)

Thanks for the links let's wait for the other guys to come on ^_^

And that's why I waited for you :P I'll most likely buy the build on christmas anyways Yeah when Kyure said AMD GPUs were cooler I was like suuure :3 And yeah we can wait for Mong too so he doesn't yell at us XD And even Neko and Soul maybe. And yeah I'll probably just buy something closer to your suggestion then upgrade to Mong's eventually ;) No need to have a bunch of cases laying around XD And thanks I might just get that mobo for the sake of boot time haha Or I could upgrade to it in the future. And thanks for the info on cooling AMD CPUs And I'll probably draw a picture of a AMD GPU with a cartoon sign saying "A.C.M.E. Certified, TOTALLY NOT A NUKE.". Also yeah saying AMD was cooler was pretty fishy And I'd have to agree with being skeptical over Kyure's posts. Nothing against him as a person but he is kind of unreliable from what I've seen so far. BTW Thanks for taking the time to prove that the 390 runs hotter than the 970. Your information really helps me Immortal and I am eternally grateful ;)
-----
And Mongius don't take too long to leave your take on all this ;)
-----
EDIT: oh the m.2 mobo is only 20$ more :P Now I'll most likely get it unless there are any downsides it has

That chart isn't very clear on the scoring system whether higher is better or worse. And it seems like Immortal did a lot of research just to disprove you no? Judging by his last post it seems that he looked at a whole lot of websites to see if your statement had any merit to it at all.

See Kyure, Immortal is being fair and unbiased because unlike you he isn't just saying "Nope this one is better.". And personally the 970 still seems better IMO

And like Immortal said, they're both within the safe heat range for a GPU. Who cares if one runs hotter than the other, there's a reason cooling parts exist such as fans and CLCs. If you had just simply said "The 380 runs a bit cooler under full load." then that would be a valid statement. We are not trying to gang up on you but your posts have been very poor lately.

It's funny how like every single thing Kyure posts to back him up does the exact opposite XD It seems like he's trolling now that I think of it.

And yeah Immortal that's why I PM'd you because it also looked to me that the chart was showing that the AMD GPU was running hotter XD

Random comparisons and citations that disprove him rather than back him up, that's what Kyure has been posting lately, along with objections, insults on our intelligence level and statements with nothing to back them up that generally goes against all other information availiable, then he posts some websites(possibly in the hope we don't read it idk.) so that he appears correct but the websites actually disprove him. He just copies and pastes all the pages from searching "380 VS 970" without reading them.

Kyure keep in mind I'm not trying to be a dick to you ok. And maybe you are trying to help but this isn't exactly reliable information.

Again thanks for taking the time to post here Immortal :) Now that that's done we can continue working on the PC

It's funny how the comparisons between the 380 and 970 became the main topic for Kyure to work on since I wasn't really deciding between the 2 in the first place XD I know AMD runs hotter and EVGA runs cooler and stronger and even cheaper at times so I had already chosen the 970 And I most likely won't even get it yet XD I'll upgrade to it later on. I'll be getting the 750 Ti probably which most likely runs cooler than the 380 especially since it probably has less power not to mention AMD usually runs hotter in general and most people would agree on that pretty much anywhere.

Don't worry Soul I know The 970 is an amazing card and IMO it's actually the best Not to mention it has the best value.

We aren't really taking Kyure's troll suggestions into consideration don't worry XD

I actually said in a previous post that I've been set on the 970 from the start and since then until now, there was never a decision between it or an AMD GPU so it's funny that Kyure decided to work in that area :P It all started when he suggested a 390 and said it was cooler than a 970 :333

But yeah I don't blame you IF you didn't reading through all that text XD Thanks btw ^_^ I always appreciate suggestions :) Also yeah the 970 is definetly money well spent and it will definetly last for years to come. It's an amazing GPU.
