That's your reasoning for not allowing Wibbles? It's too insular for people to participate in? It was the most popular and active board - participation was very high.
So that's your reason for not allowing it? Skul's reason is just 'NOOOOOPE, shit up clan boards instead' which is just as wrong as saying 'shit up IRC instead'. Clans and IRC aren't public community-wide spaces that everybody can participate in.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying turn OT into Wibbles. Proceed with the suggested adjustments to make OT less shit and grey. What I'm saying right now is that if that's your justification for keeping Wibbles extinct, then that's no real justification at all.
Why are the higher staff so viscerally against the idea of Wibbles coming back, really? These forums could do with being a little less stuffy and from what I've seen the people want it too.
