that was weird, don't quite understand how it threw him down but good job

Sadly, the koz vs monkey decap replay glitched and says it was me vs zhix, i don't feel like going to notepad and fixing it so i'm just gonna leave it

Iskenos, replays were good, nice transition to full mount on that guard sweep!

iPrime, those half throws were clean, top control on that pin pressure was well controlled. Really digging "hips.rpl", love seeing those dope slams!

HASSAN, idk what you tried going for, but it worked I guess haha, nice one.

Here are some replays I got earlier, they were meh :B

that replay looks like a low snapdown, idk wat is crackdown.

oh okay..

so i think im on to something here..
if i can cross grab my opponents arm while they kick i find the seoi nage or any arm throw works great following the kick check.

btw the last two replays are the same exact person but theres a solid two months between those fights xD. the resemblance is uncanny.

Also, is there another setup to a scissor sweep ? I keep getting leg grabbed and I don't like that. Especially, if my "first turn raised leg" keeps going off course due to leg grabs.....I can't sweep. And my base leg can't kick his torso.

As far as tiers go we're just looking for the proper form, it doesn't have to reflect a perfect seoi nage. However these are the variations off the top of my head:
drop seoi nage - droppoing to your knees (or contracted knees) throw over the shoulder
ippon seoi nage - tall standing throw over the shoulder
morote seoi nage - you are specifically gripping arm with both hands throw over the shoulder.

But again in tiers im looking for a 2 on 1 , or 1 on 1 shoulder throw.

Things that i take away from this video:

-Mental aspect is equally important, i find when im getting frustrated losing against low belts or people i believe i should be dominating, i get repressively worse in the gameplay aspect. I don't focus on both ghosts, i force techniques that just arent working that day, i sort of lose sight of the big picture.

-0:35 front headlock suplex damn!

-Find a great teacher. This is why we're here, to all learn from each other. It was hard to come here for the first time and get thrown around by iver and snake but in the same way it was satisfying to see what i hoped was possible IS possible. I learned what i could and turned it into my own style.

-3:45 knee tap!

-Focus on learning over dominating. For me, qa, TA training, and public servers are all my training rooms where i try to relax and just get creative while also sharpening my skills. Then when i go into tourneys i play for win, never risking any chance to get lifted, smashed, or dm'd.

What do you guys think?

I think with a playstyle like that you'll naturally progess at a faster rate than those that always hunt the win.
Having an instructor is important but i think it better to play against good players. necessity breeds ingenuity.
playing creatively when its only 10tc helps avoid this

I don't give a flyin' fladoodle
Scissor DAVIDE looked nice. contract the grabbing hand wrist and elbow to keep putting your weight on them. not needed but sitting heavy after throws and sweeps is a good habbit to get into.\

HIP THROW DAVIDE good arm movment no hip contact though. contract the lead leg when taking a step. anything goes wrong you may not have time to contract it to replant.

the armbar looked like it could have been good but they kneed the ground. turn your gutes to slide your leg along the arm to hook the head. back of the heel towards the face

Full throw Davide relax or contract the elbow to get more contact with their torso. can then be used to pull them in tight. in bigdojo they can bridge with the contact you can stop the bridge or follow up so you end up in top control.
personally im a lead arm down pecs contracted guy for finishing throws it helps suck them in unders and makes it harder forthem to save.

awesome KO DAVIDE you're right is was pretty slick.

contracted lead arm pec with a lowered shoulder helps turn you into them so in theory you have to go through them to get to the floor. good for follow ups. alot of my top game is built around turning in the the lead arm and pec. mostly i think they look cleaner and let you go into right into top game mode.
