@Lazors Wow, you weren't kidding. It fits together pretty well. Looks like I'm going to have to go around and make a new couple of playlists c : Diablo Swing Orchestra especially... like you said, they're a lot of fun.

@dank Oooh, interesting. I can say with all certainty that I haven't heard something too similar to this in a while. I like it well enough but I don't think I'd enjoy listening to stuff like this on a regular basis. Something about it... I can't exactly place my finger on it.

So still electro(ish-ish), but something a bit (read:Quite a bit) different

its hard to take death grips seriously for me despite being pretty decent
instrumentation is very good as always though, zack hill and andy morin are awesome

i would argue the opposite, that death grips is the friendlier side of experimental hip hop (which is why so many people like death grips but not clipping)

E: I realize it has that floating post-rock sound. I'm very bad with post-rock/shoegaze. Idk, it's good but i don't particularly enjoy it.

I never understood why DG got so much love. I liked that track more than other stuff i've heard, but mostly i just never saw the appeal.
Listening to clipping for the first time, I find it much more appealing than DG. I don't see how they would be more experimental than DG.

Alias and Dälek are nice if you're looking for (slightly less?) experimental hip hop.

Pretty cool, I like how there were barely any pauses in between te vocals, couldn't figure out what they said in some parts of the vocals but whatever.

overall it's nice

nostalgia listening to this song

back when i was still a breakdancer i heard this song a lot but never really knew what the song name was so when i found this i was happily suprised

I remember that first song as a soundtrack from Motorstorm Arctic Edge

Didn't even have to play the song to remember it :>

@koko, I've heard blood red shoes before, but, alot of their stuff sounds so similar, but, they can be enjoyable. the other two I don't take much interest in, they sound pretty generic indie.
another generic indie band is the joy formidable, who are not that formidable (hah), but, this song is alright.

also, koko, you must of listened to the pixies, but if you haven't, oh man you are missing out on some quality rock.

preferably I use my stereo set, but since I change what I listen to very often I listen on youtube most of the time anyway.

What is your preferred method of listening to music?
I don't have any streaming service (since the artist never gets any money from them), I get my music from youtube, libraries/record stores, and sharethreads. Recently got a bandcamp account and i love it. Means i can listen to music without feeling like a pirate.

i listen to it on my over ear heaphones, if i cant bring them with me i use my earbuds. sometimes i will listen to cds on my dads kick ass stereo set

i usually get it from sharethreads, rutracker or what.cd if i really cant find it anywhere. i occasionally buy physical copies if i really like the album

for finding new music, rym and sharethreads work for me

edit: on the subject of favourite "method" of listening to music, i often find that some albums require me to take a different approach than others. there are kinds of music that i can both pay attention to or play in the background (ambient and related genres), kinds that require my attention to be enjoyable (most idm, breakcore) and kinds that are almost exclusively enjoyable when i'm doing something else while i listen to them (field recordings). i like to segregate those approaches to "passive" and "active" listening.
