just a few moves I hit int he last week along with my usual breakdown.

footsweep single - I hit a high single and use this grip to reap the same leg like an modified osoto gari. With his leg reaped I ungrab and then secure a strong underhook grip on his back. I also let go of his head and switch to controlling his shoulder so he can't use this arm to post. With all these controls established, underhooked COG control, arm controlled, leg reaped, pin pressure, he is helplessly pushed to the ground despite his hip extending off the floor.

power cross (5) - For a while changed my power cross to not contract the wrist when loading up the punch. And I noticed I hadn't had any successful attempts with this move in a long time. So I'm in the final match of the tourney and I decide to chamber my whole arm: contracting the wrist and elbow, lowered shoulder, etc. Then i extend and raise all the previously listed joints and.....WHAM I'm 750 tc richer.

full guard (4) - A little bjj action against pill. He sets up a slow footsweep and I float over it and wrap his torso with a long guard. Since I don't need to worry about my base I go after his neck and become successful on the 3rd attempt.

Leg wraps
Well it took a while, but here it is... Single leg wrap.

Wrap around the leg with your arm and grab somewhere on the body to lock the leg in place. Finish the throw.

Nice work Iskenos. Now I feel that your replays 3 and 4 aren't true leg wraps but besides that its clear what you are trying to demonstrate. I think this is a low risk high reward technique that is difficult to pull off. I think its ready for its own thread but first i want to find a better name for this technique.

I think this technique has some conceptual similarity to the wrestler's cradle.

Cradle

Now I know its not a REAL cradle but the concept of wrapping your opponent's leg and then gripping high on the upper body is mechanically the same as the cradle. The only thing missing is head wrap and then joining the grips.

So can we call this a cradling technique or maybe a Basic Cradle and somewhere down the line we can achieve the Proper Cradle of wrapping the head AND leg and join grips. I would like a wrestler's opinion on this.

I'm not sure a tori's arms are long enough to successfully wrap around the head and leg together, but we can certainly try
-----
But yes, I'm fine with it being renamed to cradle. Let's just keep it as "Cradle" until we find a more complicated version of this move
-----
So I've done this same move three times today, unfortunately I only saved one and I have an older replay. Sweeplex
