How long do these little animations take for you to finish?

Awesome! As a guy who's currently studying game design, i can confirm that it's cool and you should indeed get into it. :U
As for how long it took me, 1-2 hours a piece, ish. The idle animation was a bit quicker, but it's also at a lower frame rate and is a much simpler animation overall. It's by no means a fast process, but seeing the final animation come together is just cool as hell. c:

Depends on whether i've decided to go for game design or not. In any case, i'll probably be looking for either a study or a job (... or both), because i need DE SWEET MONEEEEEEEEH, which are unlikely to be coming from game design at first. Hell, if i could land an acceptable job that earns me a living, i'd be okay with game design as a hobby. :v

1-2 hours is for a short loop with a very simple character, so imagine pulling a Disney. :v
