That investment (exactly to bitcoin, not through manipulations) would have made me about 1000$ right now from a 7-9$ investment back in 2011.
There are several "make money through bitcoin" all around.
Yes, you can make the money out of it, but it won't be residual as most of them may say. As long as people invest their money into it, the price of the bitcoin shall grow. And there is a pretty high percentage of losing a lot of money if you overinvest into some sort of bitcoin manipulation.
Mostly you can get about 2000-4000$ overall, but the re-investment may crush over to a major loss of money.
