However, I am saying:
  • Alpha is and has been a clan designed to primarily recruit skilled players who share the goal of "winning". The clan's description literally reads "designed to win". This shouldn't be controversial.
  • Since Alpha is transparently and primarily concerned with "winning", it is expected that the friendships among members within the clan will be generally weaker compared to other clans (hence me comparing Cicada, Warabi, Kros with Fire, Ponzo, Tyka -- I'm sure you guys got along but I struggle to imagine the friendships being particularly strong.)
  • Alpha has been able to both maintain and cultivate its roster primarily due to its reputation and clout. Other clans simply do not have this, which is why is has been historically difficult to compete with Alpha.
  • Money, however, is far more persuasive to most people than reputation and clout. So, I'm surprised it's taken someone this long to attempt this.
